Our Farm
Howard's End CSA farm is a small but very diversified farm which practices "sustained harmonic agriculture" utilizing raised beds, compost, biochar, and other natural and carbon neutral methods to produce a wide range of vegetables, fruits, berries, herbs, mushrooms, chickens and other livestock in an aesthetic setting in order to provide its members with a nutritional, healthful and local food resource.
Located about a half hour drive from State College, Pa. and nestled in the hills of the Little Nittany Valley, Howard's End seeks to serve the community of Centre county by way of its' CSA (community supported agriculture). It participates in the Tuesday State College Farmer's Market on Locust Lane and the North Atherton Farmer's Market where it sells produce and distributes to its' CSA members.
